Best Western Plaza Inn

I was only there for one night on a trip, but it turned out to be the best hotel or motel stay I can remember. The room was fresh and clean, and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Everyone on staff was courteous and helpful. I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends.

That lobby made a good first impression, and the staff were warm and helpful. My room was nice enough, though it showed its age. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and finding a big booger wiped on the phone was disgusting. There were also a few curly hairs on the bed, which is why I bring my own blanket. The place wasn’t terrible, but those things stood out.

We arrived without reservations after four drivers had been on the road for 14 hours, and the desk clerk’s attitude wasn’t helpful. Maybe the lack of rooms wasn’t their fault, but the response still left a bad impression. Traffic noise from the Interstate kept going through the night, so good earplugs are needed. The room itself was spacious and quite clean, and the firm bed and curtains that blocked the light worked well.

The room was average, and the breakfast wasn’t tasty, though it’ll fill you up. For the price, I thought we got a pretty good deal compared with other hotels nearby. The man at the front desk was super nice.
