Quality Inn & Suites Bremerton near Naval Shipyard

The room was spacious, and the people were friendly. I also didn’t see any current signs of bed bugs. Those were about the only positives. The room wasn’t clean, the bed was hard, and there was blood in several places, including the mattress cover and couch. The smoke detector had been removed from the wall and left in a drawer. Pot smoke came in through the air conditioner. The decorative foot bed cover was stained and nasty, and the mini fridge wasn’t plugged in, wouldn’t open, and gave off a rancid smell. The phones didn’t work when I needed to call the front desk, and the towels were yellow, grungy, and smelled of sebum. All in all, not the best stay. I heard the new owners were doing a total remodel, so I might give it another try later. Best wishes to them.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean and sanitized. The carpet in our room really needed cleaning, though. We were on the ground floor, and it was noisier than at most hotels I've stayed in. I'd book here again, but I'd choose a second-floor room.

I was impressed that Quality Inn has worked to support the homeless community and understand what people need. I speak for homeless people when I say not everyone is disrespectful, and I've noticed some people have been more respectful toward the hotel lately, even with the changes in this part of town. Micheal, the maintenance worker, is wonderful. He's the only one maintaining the whole hotel, works hard, and does a great job keeping the property looking good. I think he deserves a RAISE and a VACATION. Thank you, Quality Inn.

The room wasn't ready when we opened the door, and the number was missing, so we had to guess which room was ours. The housekeeper came quickly and was friendly and apologetic. While we waited, two police cars drove through, and one parked to keep watch. Some people in the room next to ours also looked shady to us as they moved boxes and bags in and out. The front desk man wasn't very friendly. He checked us in but said he didn't know whether the room had been cleaned. The place felt run-down, scary, and sketchy, so we got our money back and left. Avoid this place.
