Baymont Inn & Suites Brenham

We had booked four rooms for several nights for the Round Top spring show, but our stay ended with all of us packing up and loading our cars in pouring rain late at night. Five of us were kicked out after we had unpacked and changed into pajamas. It was late, and putting older women in the position of finding another hotel felt unsafe. We had done nothing except say they were going to get bad reviews over the parking problem. Employees had parked under the porte-cochere, so in the rain we couldn’t pull up to unload or check in and had to carry our luggage. Brooklyn and Adrian said they always parked there and refused to move. Another group came into the lobby soaked and raised the same issue. Brooklyn said rudely, “I’ve heard this 40 times today,” but did nothing. When we suggested she move her car, she said she didn’t care about getting bad reviews. After we got our keys, we went to our rooms, and then received a call telling us to come back to the front desk, where we were told to leave. They also said they planned to kick out the other guest who had complained about the parking. Their manager, Leslie, was apparently listening on the phone and did nothing. The employees were unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve never encountered anything like this in all my travels, and they shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The hotel itself wasn’t that great, and the rooms had a weird smell. Kicking out five women late at night was disgraceful. Do not stay here.

I picked this place because the photos showed a hot tub. I only found out after experiencing it myself and reading other Google reviews that management doesn’t heat it. I wish I’d known sooner.

I came here for the indoor pool and hot tub, hoping to use the hot tub. The front desk confirmed it hasn’t been heated, won’t be heated, and that the owner plans to fill it in. The pool will never be fixed, either. The furniture was dirty, and it’s clear they’re trying to keep costs down with very cheap fixes. The price doesn’t match what I expected. It’s more like a Motel 6 quality place.

I stayed for Junk Gypsy Prom. The place is simple but clean and had everything we needed. I left my dress and jacket in the room, and manager Leslie had them shipped to me within a week after I got in touch. She was super friendly and accommodating.
