The room itself had no hangers, an ironing board but no iron, and no coffee maker, despite the website saying there would be one. It was only ordinarily clean, and I cut my toes on a broken bathroom tile. On the second pass through the floor, the whole area smelled of marijuana, even though smoking isn't allowed in the motel. The so-called included lunch was a joke, and morning service was almost nonexistent, much like the counter service when I arrived. I booked a ground-floor room, but was put on the second floor. At 72, I have trouble walking, so that was a real problem. They held back $50.00 for possible customer damage, yet the place already had plenty of damage. The price was exorbitant for what was provided, nearly $150.00 Canadian. This was my worst experience with this motel chain since the 80s, and I'll never stay with it again. Save the excuses, they won't change how bad this stay was. THANKS (room 232)

You need a car or truck to stay here. The spot just off the highway is convenient, but I was driving a full-size coach and couldn't make the turn into the driveway. There's no room there for large vehicles like that.

The air conditioner was really noisy, and the shower wasn't ready for the next guest. There were chunks of soap from the previous person all over the bathtub floor, and the shampoo dispenser was missing. Breakfast was terrible too. The orange juice tasted like powder, and it seemed they hadn't used the right amount of water to mix it. That free breakfast isn't worth choosing this place for. Stay somewhere else. I've had much better hotel stays than this one in a long, long time.

With four people in our room, we had only three towels and two washcloths. The cabinet around the mini fridge was broken, with a nail sticking out, the paint was bubbling and peeling, and the sheets on the bed by the window were stained. The room description said there'd be an iron, but there wasn't one. On both nights, neither of our key cards worked, leaving us locked out until we went to the front desk. There was no phone in the room to call 911 or the desk. The entire first floor was under construction, though that was never mentioned when I booked. As soon as you walk in, the paint fumes hit you, and the hallway to the only elevator was dirty. The elevator itself was small and dirty, and it was the only way up to the second floor. For what I paid and the condition of the hotel when we checked in, they could have done better. I wouldn't recommend it. The one plus: I checked for bed bugs and didn't find any in the room my family stayed in.
