Laurie and Jason made us feel right at home during our perfect weekend escape at Captain Freeman Inn. It’s calm and more relaxing than anywhere we’ve stayed in a long time. We loved the cheese board, breakfast, and heated pool. We’re already planning to return next year. Thanks, Laurie and Jason!

We leave already dreaming about the next visit. Laurie and Jason are such lovely hosts, and the inn feels warm and welcoming, with rocking chairs on the front porch and flowers everywhere. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, and both breakfast and the afternoon treats are delicious. This is our favorite place to stay. Thanks, Laurie and Jason, can’t wait to come back!

For Memorial Day weekend we found the rooms simple, spacious, and comfortable, with a cozy, homey feel. Breakfast was fresh and free each morning, and there were free afternoon treats too. It rained, so we didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked very nice.

I’ve stayed here lots of times and plan to keep coming back. Laurie and Jason are kind, incredible hosts, and always accommodating. The rooms are very clean, the staff are helpful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. My favorite part may be breakfast: they’re creative, everything tastes great, and they can customize it for dietary restrictions. As someone with celiac disease, that personal touch means a lot. If you need a break from life’s craziness, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Breakfast in the sitting room was a highlight every day, and the beds were so cozy I wanted to take one home. We loved every minute at Captain Freeman Inn. Jason and Laurie were thoughtful hosts, and we can’t wait to return.
