I lived and worked at Chalet Village in the late 1970s, and whenever I come back to Brian Head, Utah, I wonder if it only seemed magical because I was young. It really is magical, in color country. At full moon, it looks close enough to touch. For beautiful country, outrageous skiing and memorable times, this is the place to visit, and Chalet Village is where to stay.

The space is a little tight for six, but it's a nice place with a great view of the slopes. Shops and the lodge are very close. The man who handled my reservation was kind and really helpful.

The condos are really well equipped, and there's lots to do nearby. I loved the setup and the beautiful views.

It was the worst condominium we've ever stayed in. The unit was tiny, and the heaters quit during the first night. My son slipped on the icy stairs and broke his wrist, so we had to leave. They refused a refund and said it wasn't their problem.

Right in the center of town, this is a great place to stay. Stores and the Giant Steps lift are close by, and the view is great.
