The scenery was the best part of our trip along US-395. Big Meadow Lodge is surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and a peaceful feeling that made it a great place to get away and recharge. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and our room was cozy, spotless, and quiet. I’ll definitely come back to enjoy the Bridgeport scenery again.

After 15 hours of driving, this was such a cozy, clean place to recharge. Someone came out to our car and showed us where to find our key and room. We had a microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and hot drink options. The bathroom was spotless, with fresh towels, shampoo, and soap. The beds were firm and very comfortable, and the room warmed up quickly. The window had beautiful views. I’d happily stop here again.

It’s a quiet, isolated spot, though there was a little highway noise that didn’t keep me up. We arrived late and the note they left for self check-in made things easy. The room was clean and nice for sleeping, in a quaint, unusual setting. It’s not especially classy, but it was what I expected. No complaints.

This quirky little bungalow was a fun place to stay, and the view was beautiful 😍. The bed wasn’t the best, though I didn’t wake up sore. The guy working there was great even though we got in pretty late. Someone who wants a fancy, modern place might not enjoy it, but I was very satisfied and have already recommended it to friends.

The owners were kind and generous during our family reunion, and this place worked perfectly for us. We needed somewhere quiet to return to after spending most of the day hiking and visiting nearby lakes. The room was comfortable, with everything working: fridge, microwave, TV, internet, table space, chairs, and hot water. The views were magnificent, and the windows let in a nice cross breeze. Traffic from 395 could be heard now and then, but earplugs handled it easily. Highly recommend!
