Super 8 Bridgeport/Clarksburg Area

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our curtains had a gap, but the woman at the front desk cheerfully gave us a clip to fix it. We'd stay again if we're in the area.

The dispute over a $75 blanket ended a year of planned business for this location. My husband says he never took or even saw the blanket in the room, but the hotel charged him for it anyway. Jordan, the manager, was dismissive and wouldn't give us direct contact information for the independent franchise owner. Jordan said the owner was Ketul Patal, though we can't confirm that's accurate. We plan to contact Wyndham corporate since the property uses its franchise name. Whether this was a money-making scheme or housekeeping simply failed to make the bed properly, the blanket wasn't there, according to my husband. If you stay, have the front desk check the room's contents with you and sign off on what's present.

I booked a smoking room for one night and checked out the next day. At checkout, the front desk person said I'd be charged $250 because she found ash in the tub. The photo she showed me had a speck smaller than a pencil eraser. She was really rude and unprofessional. Charging $250 over cigarette ash in a smoking room seems like a bit much.

The room was clean and nice, though the bed could be better. I'm from Ashland Ohio and would stay here again when I'm in the area. I checked in this weekend and check out tomorrow morning, 9-21-25.
