Red Carpet Inn - Bridgeton Vineland

On Sunday, January 2, 2026, my boyfriend surprised me with a room here. He didn't know that my children's father, who I’m no longer with, was the manager who gave him the room and key that night. Once we got to the hotel, we were inside spending time together and became intimate. My eyes were closed, and when I opened them, the manager, my child's father, was standing in the doorway. I don't know how long he'd been there or whether I was being recorded. When I told my boyfriend, he fled. I don't know exactly what to do yet, but I'm taking action. This was a serious violation of my privacy and professional ethics.

The hotel and rooms smelled of cigarettes and marijuana, and the carpets and chairs were filthy. They had cleaned, but some of the dirt seemed impossible to remove. Water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling. The location didn't feel safe. The parking lot looked scary, with shady people sitting around, drinking, and smoking, and we were uneasy leaving the car there. We had no choice, but nothing happened and it seemed okay the next day. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even if the price looks low.

We stayed one night for a sports tournament and woke to find my child had been bitten by a bed bug. There was a blood stain and what looked like the bug's remains on the sheet in the attached picture. The room smelled musty, and there was hair on the pillowcases. We arrived late and didn't have much choice, but we won't return. Zero out of five.

Room 209 had bed bugs, and some of our friends' rooms had poor door seals and dirty chairs, among other problems. The worry about bed bugs caused a lot of stress. This was the only hotel in the area, but you'd be better off sleeping in your car. Terrible place. Don't stay here.
