Hilton Garden Inn Bridgewater

Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a lighted BBQ area. The bedroom was great, the mattress comfortable, and the bathroom and shower very clean with plenty of towels. The suite also had several problems: the microwave had no turntable, there were no forks or spoons, dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher, and the freezer had no ice bucket for drinks. There was dog food and hair under the bathroom vanity, an empty dog-treat package under the living room chair, and dirt marks on the couch arm, suggesting the previous guests had a dog. We reported that the security flap bolts on the entrance door were loose at check-in, but it still hadn't been fixed by the end of our stay.

I was there for a short visit. The room was clean, the staff were cooperative, and the stay went smoothly.

We like this Hilton and were glad daily housekeeping is back. As Honors members, we asked for water at check-in, then requested more since we were staying two days. They initially said they could only give us one, though they eventually brought two. That felt petty. More broadly, hotels at this level seem to have cut back on little things like a pen and pad or an extra bar of soap.

The rooms were beautifully furnished, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. The front desk team and housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive.
