Galaxie Motel

The owner is super nice, and the room was the coolest one. It had five big windows looking out at the street and mountain. I loved that it was so different, even though the bed made a lot of noise and its frame should be replaced.

Repent. You didn’t help me when I asked and needed it, and you wouldn’t let me stay as a guest even though I’d done nothing wrong. Unfair treatment isn’t right. Caring is where good customer service starts, along with patience, understanding, forgiveness, tolerance, and helpfulness. You neglected those things and chose yourself instead of doing what was right. How could I agree to what you did when it was against me? The kingdom of heaven has come near to you. When you neglected me, you neglected the one whose name I come in. I encourage you to apologize and forgive. You are rebuked. Repent, then come follow me.

The rooms don’t seem consistent. Ours had no A/C, but a guest who arrived after us said their room was cool. It looks like they may be remodeling. I questioned the cleanliness after finding hairs and stains on the sheets and comforter, plus someone else’s soap in the shower. The owner was nice, though.

My family and I got sick while staying at this motel, and our health has declined since. While we lived there, I came to think the motel itself was the problem. We also did work for them, but were paid below minimum wage, which we hadn’t agreed to. We had agreed to cover materials ourselves at first and be reimbursed, but never got that money back. They had promised we could move into one of the rooms after renovating it, then kicked us out and trespassed us from the property. They employ people staying there under the table and are rude, and the main building doesn’t seem structurally up to code. I’m not just saying this because they treated us badly. I wish we’d never stayed there.
