Holiday Inn Express Denver Northeast Brighton

The location worked perfectly for the reason I was visiting, and the bathroom was great. The room itself was much better than I expected, although the TV could use an upgrade for today's streaming world. I don't know the hotel's rating, maybe 3 stars, but it deserves more. Tammy and Ruby were among the staff who were always willing to help with requests, including finding saltines and chicken noodle soup when I had an upset stomach. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Tammy greeted us as soon as we walked in and was helpful in every way. She was just the best, every hotel needs a Tammy. Thanks, and if we travel back this way, we'll definitely stop again.

The staff and rooms were fine, but staying here felt like a string of hassles. I was told one rate on the phone and a different one when I arrived, and they wouldn't let me check in with cash. There isn't an ATM or a store where you can use a card. The vending machines take cash or require an app with your card details, which I'd only use once. There are no water fountains, and free water was either from the tap or, if the breakfast bar had been refilled, there. The laundry machine was broken too. I planned to stay three days, but I'll need to sleep at another hotel to be comfortable.

We stayed 03/06/2026 - 03/07/2026. The place was quiet, clean, and very nice, with a welcoming feel. Everyone we met was pleasant and informative, and breakfast had lots of options and was great. We'll stay here again when we're back in the area.
