Danielle deserves a big thank you. She took a small issue and saw it through from start to finish, with a warm attitude and real class. She’s a major reason I’ll return and have recommended Bay Mills to people. The whole property was very clean, and the employees were friendly and clearly kept busy. Danielle is a valuable part of the place and should be rewarded.

The kids had a great time, so we might return if they can sort out the pool problems. We stayed overnight with the family to try the new pool and splash pad, and the facility itself was nice. But there was no hot water, leaving both the pool and hot tub about as warm as bathwater that had been sitting for an hour. The rooms seemed a bit overpriced. Service was uneven too: some people were very good with the kids, while others followed them and watched them like a hawk.

The rooms are old and smoky, so I wouldn't recommend staying here. I used to stop on my way to the UP, usually gamble and spend the night, but I won't be back. They removed the chargers and put in slower ones, 9kw instead of 50kw, and now they charge for them. Charging used to be free, and this costs about 50% more than the actual fast charging I pay for at the locks.

The old rooms have been left behind while so much money has gone into the new section. Our wallpaper was peeling, the mattress was awful, the sink was nasty, and the carpet was coming up. At the machines, nobody came over to ask if we wanted a drink, though staff did ask the people beside us. When we finally went to the bar, the bartender said he needed to see us playing, which I understand, but he never offered to have a waitress come by.
