Stoney Creek Hotel Tulsa - Broken Arrow

The King Deluxe Suite made getting ready with two or more people easy since the sink is outside the bathroom. Our window looked onto a small field and a large stone face, and the fridge had plenty of space for leftovers. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was hot each day of our six-night stay. The pool was clean and uncrowded, and the staff were kind and welcoming. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Bas Pro Shop is within walking distance. I loved staying here and would come back.

Kat made our nearly week-long stay especially comfortable. She cleaned our room every day, keeping it fresh and spotless, and left little surprise trinkets for us to find. She was sweet and professional, always greeting us with a smile, and clearly takes real care with her work and the guests. It felt like having a wonderful server looking after us at a sit-down restaurant. The hotel was clean, quiet, and welcoming, with a good location and good breakfast, which made it easy to settle in while traveling. We'd happily stay again and hope to see Kat. She's a real asset.

The hotel is newer, and the decor is unlike what I've seen in other hotels. It's very clean, and the meeting and convention rooms are huge and palatial. I haven't seen a guest room myself, though people I know who have stayed here haven't complained and told me the rooms are comfortable and accommodating. There's a pool, and the highway, restaurants, and shopping are close by. Even just stopping in for photos of the cool decor could be worthwhile.

The photos were misleading, and after a 13-hour drive I arrived at 2 a.m. expecting better because of the good reviews. Our first room smelled awful and was filthy, with hair in the shower and bed and white splatter on the chair. We waited more than 30 minutes for someone at the desk, and calls to the hotel's listed numbers went unanswered. The second room was a little better, but the toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned, with urine on it, and there was pubic hair in the shower. At 3 a.m. I didn't think a third room would be any better. I asked if they could do anything else or speak to management, but was told it would have to wait until morning and nobody there could help. I left several messages for management the next morning and never got a return call. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for cleanliness or customer service, especially at $150 a night.
