Lex at the desk and Josh in the bar both helped make this a really good place to stay. The hotel has a classy look, was very clean, and the suites were inexpensive. I liked that every room is a suite and that there are different ways to stay. I'll be back.

Oliver was great with customer service. He brought me blankets and tried to sort out the cold room, but I was still so cold that we left early in the morning. I like this hotel, but we missed the breakfast it provides.

When I'm in the Broken Bow area, I'd gladly stay here again. The rooms are clean and spacious.

We still plan to return to the Arrow, even though these last two visits didn't match our expectations from our earlier stays. We've stayed four times, often as a stop after driving from central Minnesota toward Colorado, and this time we stayed on both the way there and back. We usually love the rooms, the atmosphere, the restaurant, and especially breakfast, so the recent letdowns stood out. At dinner, I ordered pork flatiron with a baked potato and salad, plus seasonal vegetables. I asked what came with them and was told broccoli, carrots, and onion. I said I wasn't keen on broccoli or onions, but could manage the broccoli if they left the onions out. The server thought they couldn't because it was premixed, and my partner John said he could eat the onions, so we ordered them anyway. What arrived was all broccoli, with just two tiny slivers of carrot and no onion. When I pointed out what I'd ordered, the server said there were carrots in it. That side felt like a waste of money. We were also seated near the kitchen and could hear the staff clearly. They seemed to be having a good time, which is nice, but twice we heard inappropriate language, including the F bomb a couple of times. Breakfast was another disappointment. We've praised it to countless people and always look forward to it, but when we came down at 8:30, with breakfast advertised until 9:00, there were no biscuits left for the biscuits and gravy. All three Sterno warmers were out, so the food was lukewarm at best and the potatoes were mostly cold. If breakfast runs until 9:00, the warmers should stay on until then. The coffee machine wasn't working either, and the large carafe was empty. We asked, but nobody refilled it. The room price also surprised us. The previous Wednesday, our king room was $97, while this Monday's stay cost $129. The young man who checked us in blamed something happening in Broken Bow that week, but it looked like the event wouldn't start until later in the week. We wondered whether the extra $32 was necessary. Affordability is one reason we choose the Arrow, so that was disappointing too. Still, we're confident future visits will be better, even though last night and this morning fell short of our previous three stays.

For a stay in town, this is the place. In the historic part of the hotel, our room had a full-size fridge and stove, plus cookware, dishes, glasses, and silverware. There was a TV in both the sitting area and the bedroom.
