Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Milwaukee West (Brookfield), WI

We were anxious about being kicked out after check-in, when staff told us we’d be removed if we made noise. There were lots of families staying there, so that stayed on my mind. We won’t come back. The mattress still hadn’t been replaced after we told staff we could feel the springs. They said they’d check it. The shower water never got warmer than barely lukewarm, even after staff told us to let it run. We also found dirty socks under the nightstand.

The staff were kind and the service was great, and getting on and off I-94 was easy. You’ve got everything you need within five minutes, too. I’d give it 4.6 stars. It’s clean as a whistle, but the rooms seem like they haven’t changed in 20 years, and the bathroom design needs updating.

We love staying here. The staff are friendly and care about how your visit goes. When our dates got mixed up, the manager sorted it out pretty quickly. The pool area is nice, and the hot tub is actually hot. We usually book a jacuzzi room. It’s big, with a kitchen space and an extra bed. The double showerhead is amazing, and the room is always clean.

I’ve stayed here more than a handful of times when I need somewhere around Milwaukee, and I feel safe each visit. The price is reasonable, the staff are attentive, and they’re patient with me since I’m picky. It hasn’t always been perfect, but they deal with any concerns. I like being connected to a bar and grill, so I can stay in after a long day when I have an early morning ahead. The hot tub is nice, and there’s also a fitness room, laundry, and a breakfast that’s better than continental. The key entrances help me feel secure, and they recently updated them so the key’s magnet isn’t affected by being near a phone or wallet. There’s a small snack area for when the restaurant is closed and a gas station within walking distance for other things I might need.
