I’d meant to continue on to Crescent City after stopping at Beachfront Inn for a quick look, but the ocean view and spotless, comfortable room changed my plans. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. Anna at the front desk really won me over with her energy and humor. She made staying feel like an easy choice and turned an unplanned stop into the best part of my travel day before heading toward the Redwoods. That kind of genuine welcome is rare, and I’ll remember this stay. Highly recommend!

I’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s become one of my favorite spots. The little balcony is a lovely place to have morning coffee, and the room is clean, beautifully decorated, and has what you need, even a box fan. There are plenty of soft, clean linens, and the bed and pillows feel like clouds. The view from the room is hard to beat. I can fall asleep to the waves without needing a sound machine.

I was here on a road trip two days ago and will be back. The staff were great, and the ocean views were even better. It was beautiful and relaxing, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was amazing. Thanks!

The oceanfront view and sound of the water were the one thing I liked. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and I couldn’t relax enough to take a hot bath. Paying $300 a night for a room this dirty and poorly kept was deeply disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll return. There was hair everywhere, including in the bathtub, and the floors were filthy. My grandson was picking things off the carpet and trying to eat them. Paint was chipped all over the front door and the room’s interior doors, and a chunk of wall was missing by the front entrance. The rooms need serious upkeep, repainting, and wall repairs.

The building looks a little old from outside, but the room itself was modern, updated, and clean. It had a glass sliding door with a lock and a screen door opening onto a small balcony with seating. Parking was a bit tight, but it was a great place for the night. I arrived at night without a reservation, and check-in was easy. The night receptionist was friendly, informative, and helpful.
