Rodeway Inn Brooklawn

The check-in and checkout were quick, and the rates were very affordable. My room was spacious and really clean, and the staff made me feel welcome. I had a pleasant stay.

The intersection nearby is a nightmare, and the motel was no better. The room was so disgusting I nearly slept in my car. They gave me the wrong room and wouldn’t switch it, so I was stuck in a nasty smoking room even though that wasn’t what I’d expected. There was barely any toilet paper and only one towel, with dust, grime, and mold everywhere. At least there were no bed bugs. The guy at the counter was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I called twice with questions, and he couldn’t be bothered to help. Then he didn’t want to check me in.

I called several times to ask a manager about my booking, but kept getting hung up on or sent to a voicemail that doesn’t work. The guy refused to help and asked why I was calling so much. After I explained, he told me to call in the morning. I asked for the manager’s name and got hung up on several more times. Terrible customer service. Check the call screenshots.

The room was fairly clean, but it’s old and the plugs didn’t work. It was listed as non-smoking, yet smelled like cigarettes.
