Breakfast had plenty to offer, much more than a Holiday Inn or somewhere like that, and the staff really tried to make you feel at home. The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms have good showers with nice pressure. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I liked the old-school feel; it was comfortable and didn't seem to need modernizing. Great stay, and I'll stay again.

The innkeepers have been personable and great about taking care of anything we need. Snacks and drinks are available around the clock, which is really nice. It's a clean, neat place and feels like coming home instead of returning to a hotel. The Bertram Inn is near train access and several parks, and lots of other things are within walking distance. It's cheaper and a much better experience than a hotel with 200-plus rooms. We'd love to stay again if we're back in the area.

After a long travel day, I really needed sleep, and the warm, soft bed was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. Such a comfy atmosphere in this beautiful little city gem. I'd stay again!

They even accommodated our dog. The breakfast was delicious, and the pastries were outstanding. I saved one for the drive home. The baker is incredibly talented. A lovely bed and breakfast with great service, the kind that sets a standard for other B&Bs.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the place has a historic feel. The room and furniture are old, but everything was quite clean. I had trouble figuring out the hot water knob in the bathroom and had to call the housekeeper before I could shower. Still enjoyed my stay there.
