Hampton Inn Brooklyn Park

Even with the do not disturb hanger on my door, housekeeping knocks to ask about checkout, then the front desk calls my room a few minutes later. I pay for late checkout every time I come, but they wake me up twice before checking their records and seeing that I’ve paid. There needs to be a better system so guests who’ve paid for late checkout aren’t disturbed by housekeeping and the front desk.

The upgraded King room had a stained bed cover and a shower handle that didn’t work. Staff were cold with me. I’m starting to think it might have more to do with my appearance than their general attitude, based on how I saw them treat others. The hotel sits in the middle of an industrial center, which is handy if you work nearby; otherwise, you’ll need to drive a few minutes to get anywhere. I wouldn’t recommend it or come back.

The hot and cold breakfast options were good, and the selection changed every day. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, and there’s a nice gym and indoor pool. I was here for business on 8/28/25, and the location worked well since my job was about 15 minutes away. It’s not right on a busy road, which made it nice to sleep during the day while working nights. The staff accommodated my night shift.

The room was clean and had the basics. Overall, it was pretty good, and the staff were nice and helpful.
