Red Roof Inn Baltimore South - Glen Burnie

The staff made sure our driver got us to the port on time, and Mr. George was professional, courteous, and helpful. Thank you for a great experience! My wife and I stayed on Saturday, February 7, 2026, because our cruise was due to leave the next day. Our ship was late arriving on the 8th, so boarding wasn't possible until 5 PM. We explained the delay, and the staff let us remain in our room past the usual checkout time without charging us. That amazed us in a world where it often feels like everything is about the dollar. Most people from our cruise either had to pay for another "night" or go explore Baltimore and come back four hours later.

The room was the dirtiest I've ever had. The TV was awful, there were no cable channels, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else, because this place isn't it in Glen Burnie at the red roof Inn.

Dead roaches in the tub, dirty sinks, dust and grime everywhere, plus ripped furniture, rust, and stains. The shower leaked, the fridge was broken and disgusting, and the heating unit was so loud I had to shut it off, leaving the room freezing. Dogs were allowed and barked all night. People wandered around outside and stood right at the window. I had to brace the door with a chair to feel safe. Housekeeping was nonexistent, or someone should be fired. This hotel belongs in a horror movie. I only stayed because the booking was nonrefundable and everywhere else was full for graduations. I can say 100% I'll never even consider coming back. Honestly, I'd rather sleep outside.

The women's bathroom was a surprise too. I hadn't realized it was being renovated, so none of the three stalls had doors, and one stall was completely gutted. At least there were still two commodes. I was at the Red Roof Inn on Ritchie Highway for my uncle's 98TH! surprise birthday party. The party went well, and he was very surprised. Congratulations to my nonagenarian uncle!!!
