The staff were really nice and did their best to help. The room itself needed a lot of work. It was run down, and some things didn’t seem like they’d been washed. There was brown stuff smeared on the shower that looked like poop, but we cleaned it off so we could use the shower. We brought our own things, which helped. No phones in the rooms, and no Bible in the drawer, lol. Isn’t that standard for hotels? The outside area looked very nice, with palm trees, a waterfall, a hot tub, and a pool. You could swim if you wanted, but it was too cold for that. If you’re a truck driver on the road, it’s a place to rest your head, stretch your legs, and get a good night’s sleep.

I turned on the AC and noticed a couple of bugs around the unit. The tub and shower drain were stained, and the toilet looked just as bad, like it never gets cleaned. Worst and most disgusting hotel room ever.

It was late, and an Uber had dropped me off, so being left outside meant I had to wait for another ride to a different hotel. I’d called ahead to try to reserve a room, but when I arrived, the old man looked at me and wouldn’t open the door. DO NOT GO HERE! Super 8 is competitive and won’t steal your money.

The bed was clean and comfortable, at least, and there were no bedbugs. But the bathroom floor was sticky, the toilet looked dirty, and the shower and tub weren’t clean. There were cockroaches, no ice bucket or hand towels, and the coffee was old and bitter.

I lay down to watch TV before bed and then spotted little spiders and ants all over it. After killing several, I took this video, ran out of the room, got my money back, and left. It left me up all night during a business trip.
