Brookville Lodge

The Reservoir Room had plenty of hot water, but only when nobody else in the building was using it. Its vents also blow right toward the bed, so the air hits your face while you sleep, whether it's hot or cold. The old doors and windows make a lot of noise because their hardware clearly hasn't been greased in ages, especially noticeable around 2am. And being right in the town center means traffic noise from the main road at that hour too. The building itself is quaint and homey, with period correct hardware, and it's easy to get to the "downtown" of Brookville in any direction. The owner is sweet, though the business side felt unprofessional, from what they wore on move-in day to forgetting how the rooms were being paid for. The AC and heat worked, and there was ample hot water at times. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Felt homey, and the beds were comfortable. It's a clean place in a great town with lots of nice little shops and good restaurants.

The setup sits somewhere between a B&B, Airbnb, and a hotel, which worked well for a comfortable stay. You get a private suite, and there's a full kitchen available to use.

The place was really nice and clean, and the lady who rented it to me was friendly and quick to help. I absolutely loved it.
