It's an old motel, and everything is dated, so this won't suit you if you're after an upscale hotel. But it's been kept up well despite its age. The single rooms are spacious, and you get clean rooms, good service, and a good price here.

We thought it might be charming, but it wasn't. Most of the rooms were empty, and some of the guests made us uneasy. They'd taken up all the parking with two trucks parked sideways, so we went to the Super 8 just down the road instead.

For a quirky roadside motel with a retro feel, this was just what we wanted, and the price was very reasonable. The furniture and tube TVs are dated, and the carpet's worn, but everything felt clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomed our big dog for a small fee. I like the old-school layout, with rooms opening to the outside, a real key, and parking right in front. We had big, bright windows and a pleasant view from the hill. Sure, there's a gas station in sight, but you can also see forested mountains, and the place sits far enough back from the road to feel peaceful. The screen door alongside the regular locking door let us enjoy a breeze, and the shower had great water pressure. The AC was a little weak and the cleaning product smell was noticeable when we first entered, but the screen door helped with both, so neither bothered us much.
