Holiday Inn Express and Suites Broomfield by IHG

Anthony at the evening front desk was patient and genuinely helpful when my work card wouldn’t go through. He talked with my manager and helped get everything sorted out. My room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and very nice, and I had a restful three-night stay. Breakfast was good and had plenty of fresh fruit, though I missed having oatmeal or biscuits and gravy during the week.

The breakfast was good, and the area stayed quiet even over Memorial Day weekend. The rooms smelled fresh and were clean throughout, definitely a 10/10 for that. Our bed was medium-firm, and we’d stay again. The AC was frustrating, though: it seemed motion-controlled or set to a temperature, kept shutting off overnight, and the room never felt like the 62 degrees we set.

I really liked the Costa Coffee machines in the lobby, and breakfast had good options for the morning. The location is great, the room was clean, and it was good value. The photos I posted are of room 337. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

I booked four rooms, including an accessible room for my father, who uses a wheelchair. The hotel couldn’t put us in adjoining rooms or even near his room, but we managed to get him settled for the night. It was difficult to move his chair between the beds, and the hallway was very narrow. When I checked with the front desk, they assured me it was an accessible room. The next day I noticed the door placard showed a hearing-impaired icon; the room across the hall had the wheelchair-accessible icon. I paid for an accessible room and didn’t get one. My own room also had little black hairs in the shower, so I wore shoes the whole time. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay here again.
