Candlewood Suites Milwaukee Brown Deer by IHG

I spent six months here while on a work assignment, and the stay at Candlewood brown deer Wisconsin was better than excellent. The location was easy to reach and very quiet, which mattered since I worked nights. Shops and other things I needed were close by. The staff made the long stay. Stacy, the front desk manager, was professional and helpful. Omed was truly one of a kind, positive and professional, and I really enjoyed our conversations. Grace, Hanna, and Jesse on the night shift were kind and helpful. Good luck with your education goals. Maria, the housekeeping manager, had an outstanding work ethic and made sure rooms met Candlewood standards. Cursita and ana went above and beyond to keep my room very clean. Thank you all for such a great stay. Oren.

My room was cleaner than any I’ve stayed in, and the front desk person was SO friendly. They also have a locker where you can borrow things like crock pots.

It was quiet and tucked away, and I liked that dogs are welcome. I managed to lock myself out twice and then couldn’t find the wifi code, so I spoke with the front desk several times. They were especially pleasant and accommodating each time.

The room was very clean, and it was useful having a kitchenette with a full-size fridge. Check-in went smoothly, there was plenty of parking, and the shower head was tall enough for me at 6'4". The bathroom also had decent counter space. A few things went wrong: the toilet flapper was loose, so it ran about every five minutes, and the coffee maker leaked water over the counter the first time we tried it because it didn’t seal properly. We also found an unexplained $9.40 charge. At checkout, the staff couldn’t identify it either, since they saw no charged incidentals. My wife and I were here for a three-day Milwaukee getaway.
