WoodSpring Suites Brownsville TX

Sonia made my stay feel like home. She brought so much care and positive energy to looking after my room, always making sure it was clean, fresh, and welcoming. She was kind, respectful, attentive, and had a smile every day. I'm grateful for her hard work and the wonderful service. She's a real star at this hotel.

I was happy with the room and thought the staff were cool, until they came in while we were asleep for a monthly inspection. They said the latch lock had just broken, but I don't see how it could shear off the door without a lot of force.

We only slept there one night because after working all day, we arrived too late to leave, and we had nowhere else to go. The next day, we showed Hotels.com photos of the disgusting conditions. We had booked three rooms for 11 days for work through them, and Hotels.com tried to get us reimbursed for at least the remaining days. We'd have accepted paying for two nights, and any refund would've been appreciated, but the location manager refused. The location said we'd signed a nonrefundable-stay form at check-in. We thought it was an incidental form. Hotels.com did their best to help and tried to reach an agreement, but the location wouldn't budge. No stars for this place. Do not stay here, it's a hazard to your health.

At WoodSpring Suites in Brownsville, TX, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the whole place seemed well looked after. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help with whatever I needed. Great service and genuine hospitality made this an excellent stay. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
