Comfort Suites Brunswick

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fine apart from the coffee. The bathroom was dim, and one light was out. On the morning of 2/21/26, at least seven or eight of us waited inside for coffee for about 10 minutes while the woman working was outside. When she came in, a guest told her it had run out. She answered coldly, “I’m getting it,” then we waited another 10 minutes for it to brew. That was unacceptable. Coffee matters at breakfast, and keeping it made shouldn't be hard.

Fine for a place to crash, but not much beyond that. We were told there were no extra towels when we asked, the hot water ran out fast, and breakfast wasn't worth mentioning. The room wasn't especially clean either.

We stayed here on July 5, 2024, and it was awful. The rooms looked like a dirty house, the TV was tiny, and there were barely any breakfast choices. Comfort Inn and suites should update the rooms to look more like Home2 Suites and add options like sausage, oatmeal, hash browns, and potato rolls. The elevators looked bad and took forever to arrive. They should switch to Schindler elevator.

We left because the couch in the room had stains, though the sheets seemed fine. I also saw workers drinking out back. At another hotel checkout the next day, we heard from a customer who had come to the hotel we were at that this place had bed bugs. I'll raise my rating to two stars if we get a refund. The bank statement suggests they charged us again.
