DoubleTree by Hilton Brunswick

We had a good stay, and the hotel was extremely clean. I especially liked the wood floors in the bedroom instead of carpet, and the bathroom was large and clean too. The front desk girls were very helpful, courteous, and patient. YALMIR was a very nice housekeeper. The restaurant was pretty and clean, though a little expensive. They have a small gift store with coffee and snacks, but there isn't much there. A vending machine on the different floors would be nice.

The room was clean and nice, but the employees we dealt with all seemed unfriendly and like they didn't care. The front desk woman the next morning wouldn't help with a coffee issue. Our room door kept sticking and was hard to open, and when we asked the desk to have someone look at it while we went to dinner, they said maintenance would need to fix it in the morning. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was good, with lasagna, ravioli, and chicken alfredo, but service was slow. It wasn't my favorite Hilton experience.

I came for my birthday to rest and relax, and was pleased with the room when we arrived. The front desk was helpful and accommodating, and we had a comfortable, quiet stay. The water pressure was good and the water was hot. I'll stay here again when I travel. 5 stars.

The warm cookies on arrival were the icing on the cake. The whole Doubletree by Hilton Brunswick felt first class, from the lobby and restaurant to the staff. We were heading north when a snowstorm started developing where we were going, so we stopped at the nicest Brunswick hotel we could find. At the desk, Kristen found us a reasonably priced room, and it turned out really nice. She was as kind and accommodating as anyone could hope for. I'm sorry the weather interrupted our trip, but very glad we stopped here. I hope we have a reason to return, hopefully without snow next time. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did. Doubletree by Hilton Brunswick is simply the best.
