The room was very clean, but the sink and bathtub wouldn’t drain. I was treated as if I’d caused damage before I’d even seen the room, and they asked for a $100 deposit on top of the room rate and tax. I’m a clean 77-year-old woman with a service dog, and they refused to let me book a second night, claiming there was no availability when that wasn’t true. If you’re looking for an attitude, go there.

Pat's pizza is an easy walk away and has really good food and drinks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I felt safe there. It’s an older motor court that’s been remodeled recently. We’ll definitely come back 👍

This felt more like a highway stop than somewhere I’d choose for a planned stay. The chairs had stains, and the room was really hot when we arrived because the heating and cooling setup was odd. The room also felt generally stale, even though I couldn’t see anything on the bed. The clerk wasn’t discreet about room numbers.

The bed was comfortable for me, not too soft or firm, though the pillows were a little thick. The room also had a bathtub, full-sized ironing board, desk, microwave, mini-fridge, and suitcase stand. It was spotless and had no smell, pet hair, or bugs. I was traveling solo, and this older hotel is clearly well cared for. It’s in a safe spot in a quaint town, set back from the main road enough to avoid highway noise. The staff were friendly, and the A/C worked well. I liked being able to open the transom window for fresh Maine air. Shell Gas, McDonald's, and a donut shop are close by. I usually bring my own pillow, but these worked fine when I was propped up or sleeping on my side.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and both the room and office were clean. The little entryways are cute. It’s a bit dated, but the price was right. The food was okay, though we were there in the off season.
