There’s a lot in the room: a large layout with a mini fridge, microwave, desk, extra sink and vanity outside the bathroom, hair dryer, and ironing board and iron. The price was very reasonable, the front desk person was friendly, check-in was easy, and the water was very hot. It was mostly clean. Noise carried easily from the room above, people outside, and cars. The curtains didn’t block the parking lot light, and the mattress was very light and thin. The room needs maintenance, with wallpaper and paint peeling, a floor trim board off, and bathroom grout and caulk that need replacing.

The guest laundry was a train wreck. The dispenser was broken and had no soap, and the front desk had none for sale. The washer was okay, but the dryers got hot without venting properly, so the clothes stayed wet. I hung them in the room overnight to dry. It’s an older motel, but clean and quiet, easy to find, and the front desk people were nice.

Nice staff, but this is a creepy place. The motel stinks, even in the hallways, and after trying two rooms I could smell mold, urine, and toxic cleaners being used to cover other odors. The doors only closed with loud slams. Smoke was allowed on the balcony and streamed into my room through the door and window. Don’t go.

I checked for bedbugs because I know people worry about them, and there weren’t any. The room was clean and decent, and the bathroom was clean too. I traveled with my cat, and the place is pet friendly.
