The Stella Hotel, Autograph Collection

I loved the walk around Lake Atlas, with its amazing views, and had a great time relaxing in the pool and hot tub. The restaurant Campfire had amazing food, and we even played corn hole. All the concierges were very polite and helpful. This was my first stay at The Stella, but I’ll book there again next time I’m in Bryan/College Station.

After checking out, my husband and I found the rental car battery was dead, and we needed help getting it jumped before our 10-hour drive home. Haley at the front desk offered the jumper cables she keeps in her car, and said Omarion, the maintenance engineer, would be in soon with a battery jump pack. He found us in the parking lot, was really friendly, got the vehicle going, and had us back on the road quickly. We’d stayed three nights at The Stella in Bryan, TX. The room was very clean, the beds and pillows comfortable, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The staff at check-in were exceptionally friendly. I’d highly recommend the hotel to people visiting the area.

When rain forced my friends to move their wedding from the A&M botanical gardens, the staff at The Stella let us use their speakeasy bar for the ceremony. It worked out perfectly. Dawn coordinated the morning and made sure no one walked in during the ceremony. Pam was a blessing, helping at the last minute with the Bluetooth music, pinning the groom’s boutonnière, and even fixing people’s hair without being asked. She seemed to know what we needed before we did. We stayed at the hotel too and had no problems. Breakfast at the restaurant was good, and the waterfront is lovely for sitting or playing. Great hotel and amazing staff. Highly recommend The Stella!

I had a last-minute event and a scheduling problem that left me really stressed. Ayesha helped sort it out quickly and politely, without the usual runaround with hotel bookings. I’ll definitely book this property again when I’m in town.
