Sky Ridge Yurts

This was our second stay at Skyridge Yurts, and we loved it again. We were in Santeetlah in 2022 and chose Junaluska this year. Its two bedrooms and pullout couch worked well for our group of six. The yurts are very clean, the deck and fire pits are great, and the view is hard to beat. The host communicated well, and we liked being only 20 minutes from downtown Bryson City. Looking forward to coming back.

We’ve stayed at Sky Ridge twice, both times in winter to enjoy the Christmas festivities in Bryson City. The yurts are cute, cozy, and comfortable, and the cleanliness really stood out. Each time, it looked as if nobody had stayed there before. Can’t wait for our next visit!

My trip got delayed by bad weather, so I can only speak to the service so far, and it’s been top notch. They’ve helped me at every step, from add-ons and upgrading because of the low temperatures to dealing with me being unable to travel during the snowstorm. Their communication has been clear and consistent. Thanks for all the help. I can’t wait to visit once I’m able to reschedule.

We’ve already started planning to return to Sky Ridge next year, maybe for a longer stay. We’re not really campers, but glamping won us over. Tuckasegee felt like a home away from home, and the photos don’t do it justice. The first thing I noticed may have been the smell, in a good way. It had the aroma of a luxury suite, though I’m not sure exactly what the scent was. I plan to find out and use it at home. It’s also convenient to several small towns that are fun to explore. Communication before the trip was great, and the stay instructions were easy.
