It had the basics we were looking for: a clean, affordable place near the rivers and state parks. The hotel was cute, with an updated Route 66 motel feel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We knew the rooms had two double beds when we booked, but I still wish there were a few rooms with a queen. It was just the two of us, and we're used to a king. I nearly rolled out of bed on our second night!

Everything worked, and it was a great value for getting to Crystal. There were plenty of outlets, plus a fridge and microwave. The hot water was great too! We asked for extra comforters so we could turn the heat off overnight. Just remember to turn the fridge down.

For the price, the rooms are simple, but clean and nicely equipped. I heard a little road noise now and then. It's a great spot for getting to Crystal, and the value is the best I've found in a motel in a long time. Thumbs up.

That Keurig coffee maker was the highlight for me. I need my coffee in the morning! The room was clean, and the area made this a great place to stay for a ski getaway.

We had plenty of space even with five of us, two adults and three kids, in a room with two full beds. We brought a pack n play for the youngest and had no problems. The owners were very accommodating when our plans changed and we needed to extend our stay from one day to two, then four. We were traveling around King and Pierce County, and with the 410 bridge down, we had to go all the way around to get in and out of town. Coffee, dining, and shopping were all close by.
