I was in Bucyrus for work and first stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street from Knights Inn because I was wary of Knights Inn from bad experiences elsewhere. I tried this one the next night, and it was by far the best Knights Inn I’ve stayed at. It isn’t a five star hotel, but it’s the best motel I’ve been in. Management even let me look at the rooms before I paid to make sure I’d be happy with my choice. The staff were very friendly. When I came back two weeks later, they remembered me and the room I’d had. The place does seem a little outdated, but I’m not paying a fortune to stay there, so that doesn’t bother me much. I’d definitely recommend this Knights Inn to anyone staying in Bucyrus.

I’d only been here two minutes when I saw the bathroom mess. I took a few pictures, though I wish I knew how to post them here. This place is bad. Update: I woke up covered in bites. At first I thought they were spider bites, but there are too many on both sides of my body, and I think they were bed bugs.

It’s a Quality Inn now, not a Knights Inn, and the rooms have been remodeled and are nice. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, there’s no pool, and the tub wasn’t slip proof.

We got two rooms, and both tubs were dirty. One even had a used bar of soap with its wrapper left behind. The rooms just felt nasty.

The building is older, but it was in good shape, and the staff were great. They were remodeling while I was there, so I’m looking forward to seeing the updated spaces on my next visit.
