Good Nite Inn Buena Park

The trees on the property look like sticks with only a few leaves. They could use room to grow, because right now they look terrible. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance, which was handy. For a budget hotel it was okay. The room was fairly clean, apart from a few hairs around the tub, and the area under the beds could use a vacuum. My window faced the elevator waiting area, so I couldn't open the curtains and have any privacy. Poor design.

The hotel itself was nice, but after we left they added a charge without telling us. I called to ask about it, and it turned out to be their mistake, not ours. Why should we pay extra for an error by the front desk? The manager's explanation didn't make sense, and they hung up on me. Charging us after checkout without notifying us was really unprofessional.

The staff were very nice, and the hotel was very clean apart from cobwebs high in a bathroom corner and on the bathroom vent. The morning coffee and tea were generic, with powdered creamer and plain black tea and no other choices. Disneyland is about 15 minutes away, and there's a Black Bear Diner across the street.

The room had an odd moldy smell, and when I asked the front desk for slippers, they didn't have any. I stayed two nights before flying home because the hotel was affordable and close to my grandma's place. It was okay for the convenience and price, but they could improve a few things.
