Super 8 Buena Park

We booked for 12/6/2025 just to sleep after a day at Knotts Berry Farm, and left as soon as we could the next morning. The room had blood on the door, stained blankets, a clogged tub, and no shower head. When we reported it, the man said there were no other rooms and we could leave without a refund because we hadn't reported everything within the first 15 minutes. We couldn't find another room, so we stayed. In the morning we saw cockroaches, then found MOLD on the windows and curtains when I opened them. At the desk, a different person took our pictures and videos and said he wasn't a manager but would tell management, who would contact us. A week later, no one had reached out, and I still couldn't get hold of anyone. We booked through Priceline, but when they called the hotel, they said they wouldn't help because we had stayed. Beware, you get what you pay for.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the heater didn't work when I turned it on because the room was chilly. I had booked two nights, February 20th through the 22nd. After I went to Walmart for oderban to freshen the room, I found two cockroaches running along the floor. The desk clerk said he couldn't do anything because it was late. The next day, I raised the concerns again, but he said he'd have to wait for a reservation to cancel since everything was booked. Management wouldn't answer the phone, which was frustrating. The clerk did give me a space heater and extra blankets to make up for the lack of heat. I contacted the booking agent, who reached out to management, but they offered no compensation for the trouble I went through with my two young kids. I'll never book here again and recommend choosing somewhere else. These people will screw you over.

This place was disgusting. There were roaches, the bedding didn't look clean, and all the blankets had burn marks. The smell was terrible, and the shower had two different shades of gross. The bed was broken and split down the middle. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

I don't need an updated room when I'm just stopping to sleep and continue my trip, but this place was beyond bad. The room reeked of smoke, and there were no other rooms available. I found dust and dirt on the walls, stained chairs, a damaged, worn toilet seat, and a cockroach in the tub. We also got bites that made us think we might have picked up bed bugs. This was probably the worst motel I've stayed in, and even though some rooms look updated in the website photos, I won't stay at this location again.
