Best Western Vista Inn

We always want to stay here when we travel through. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have everything you need, while the heated indoor pool and hot tub are huge. Breakfast is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is excellent. The whole place is very clean. It really is hard to imagine a better place, and they keep earning awards.

We watched Indiana Jones all weekend because the cable selection was great. The room worked well for us, with two queen beds so we each had room to relax, plus plenty of places to charge our devices. There was a fridge and microwave for leftovers and takeout. Being so close to downtown made it easy to get food, drinks, and do some shopping. The staff were friendly and took care of what we needed. The second-floor ice maker wasn't working when we arrived, but they offered other solutions and we felt looked after the whole time.

They left a cupcake in my room for my birthday, which was a sweet touch. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good too.

After I posted this, the GM approached us very rudely and told us to leave. The GM and other staff then banged on our door, said they were "housekeeping," and asked us to cut our stay short. It felt like criticism wasn't welcome. We only wanted them to acknowledge the mistake and honor our original reservation. I've never experienced worse customer service. We won't stay at this hotel again, and this experience may put us off Best Western properties altogether. We had booked a room months ahead for a wedding, but when we arrived they said they had lost the reservation and that the corporate office had canceled it. They wouldn't honor the original booking and charged us an exorbitant amount to book a different room that wasn't comparable. They were rude to us, and once we finally got into the room, it looked like bed bugs were crawling along the bed bases. If you have a choice, do not stay here.
