Extended Stay America Chicago Buffalo Grove Deerfi

The location beside the Wholefoods grocery store is so convenient, and the laundry room is always clean. Last Friday, Thim helped sort out my granddaughter’s reservation after the confirmation went missing. Manager Mark was friendly and helpful too, and even helped me log on so I could post this review.

The weekly rate is very reasonable, and the petite suite was clean and quiet, with a kitchenette and a great bathroom. There’s unlimited hot water, a tub, a well-lit parking lot, and a convenient laundry room. Housekeeping and repairs are handled attentively, and the interior cameras are well placed. DirecTV has a good selection. Nearby, there’s Sky Fitness, an upscale health club with spa amenities, and Woodman's giant 24-hour market. GM Mark deserves special thanks for his enthusiasm and professionalism, and Joe and Tim gave great customer service. Staff do enforce the indoor non-smoking policy, with fines and termination of stay, but it’s still hard to keep smokers away from the entrance 😐.

The location is great, and everyone has been welcoming since we arrived. The manager has always been understanding and helpful when we’ve had a small payment issue and needed to make an adjustment. I appreciate him looking out for everyone. The whole staff and the housekeepers are friendly and helpful, and I respect the work they do to keep things running smoothly. The housekeepers do a great job. Omer helped us from our first day. Mention him when you check in, or say hello if you see him. He helped us get a much lower rate, which made a real difference. Awesome manager, maids, and staff!

After an issue at another ESA, where the staff were unprofessional and unwilling to help, I came to this location and spoke with Joe and Mark. Once I explained what had happened, they jumped on it, resolved the problem quickly, and got us a room for the rest of our stay. We can’t thank them enough for making our trip possible. ESA has two of the best employees!
