Sara, the front desk manager, made me feel welcome on both weekends I stayed here. On my first visit she smiled warmly, explained the hotel and nearby food options, and helped with my questions. The next weekend, I'd sent a parcel ahead of time. She spotted me checking in and brought it to the desk without needing to ask my name. That kind of service means a lot, especially as a longtime Marriott member. The rooms are simple, clean, and uncluttered. There's plenty of food nearby as well as options in the hotel. The lobby has grab-and-go snacks and small meals, plus a microwave for heating food when everything else is closed. It's close enough to avoid staying at the run-down hotels nearby, and I plan to come back next year.

I had a balcony room with a lovely view of the city and lake. The hotel is a great base for exploring downtown Buffalo, and the concert venue I went to was only a short walk away. I was in town to see a friend and go to the show, and all the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I'll definitely book here again when I visit.

The room was spacious and nice, and the staff were nice too. But putting a rooftop club directly above the hotel rooms is shocking. For both nights, loud thumping music went on until 1am. It felt like sleeping in a frat house.

The rooms have a postmodern look, and some have outdoor balconies with great views over Downtown Buffalo and beyond. It's a clean, upscale hotel right in the heart of Buffalo. I'd recommend Patrick's Rooftop lounge for a drink, decent wings, and those breathtaking views.
