Holiday Inn Express Suites Buford Mall Of Georgia

The location is handy, about five minutes off the highway, with stores and everything else you need just a minute away on the main road. This is a brand new hotel that’s been open for only a year, and I travel around the country reviewing hotels. It’s near the top of my list, easily a 10 out of 10. Fazle and the team, Ashley, Jazmine, and John, do a phenomenal job from the moment you walk in. They go above and beyond to make your stay feel special and like home. I slept really well in the soft beds, and the rooms are super clean. The bathroom has what you need, including Dove products. There’s also a good gym, a nice conference room, and a heated salt water pool indoors, which is great if you’re traveling with kids. I’ll definitely return. Fazle, keep up the great work with your team. You’re doing a phenomenal job.

We spent four nights here with our kids, and it’s been the cleanest, best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The pool was clean and heated, and there were lots of shops and stores nearby. Breakfast had plenty of options and was good. We could hear noisy people above us, but the hotel tried to sort it out right away, and thankfully they were only there one night. We were pleasantly surprised to find Dove body and shampoo products instead of the generic soap bars most hotels have. We wish more places were this nice. When we’re back in Atlanta, we’ll only book here.

Adam, the night auditor, was excellent, and Vasily made my daughter’s birthday morning extra sweet with a birthday song at breakfast. Other hotel guests joined in, and he also gave my family some goodies. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. It was clean and quiet, everyone was extremely friendly, and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a nice hotel in Buford. Five stars!

John, the maintenance man, will always be dear to me after what happened when I was staying at The Holiday inn. I had come back to my room for lunch before a very important work training, and then found my car battery dead and my keys locked inside. We’d all been warned we’d be fired on the spot for being late or missing training, so I was frantic. I went into the lobby, broke down, and cried. The manager hurried to help, and one of the cleaning ladies brought me water and calmed me down. Then the manager came back with John and said he’d drive me. John rushed to his car and kept reassuring me we’d make it. He got me there on time, treating it like his own job was on the line. I’m not used to that kind of kindness anymore. I’ve thought about it all week, and words don’t cover the experience. I still laugh when I remember pulling up to the parking area I needed, with a car blocking the entrance, and John saying, “move out of the way we’re late for training.” I felt like I was in a Steve Martin movie. The staff are so kind here. This place is a 10 out of 10.
