The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the location is excellent, right by popular shopping and dining in metrowest Boston. It should be a convenient, affordable choice, but the property seemed poorly maintained and not clean enough. It was pretty gross, and I mostly don’t want to stay here again.

I’d never tried an extended stay before, but this was a really good experience. The amenities and laundry room were clean and secure, and the location is hard to beat. Linda, Bensley, and David were friendly, professional, and made the stay great with their hospitality.

The front desk staff were friendly, though I rarely saw anyone beyond that. My first room, on the second floor, had a huge crack in the ceiling, and neither the TV nor the phone worked. The replacement on the first floor hadn’t been cleaned recently, and the tub, kitchen sink, and floor all needed attention. During the five days I was there, nobody serviced the room, so I had to get fresh towels and toilet paper myself. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

The room was run down and filthy: rust on the fridge, chipped paint, badly patched wall holes, hair in the shower drain, toothpaste on the mirror, and dust and dirt on the toilet. Nobody cleaned it during our stay. After a long travel day, I just wanted a shower and bed, but there was no hair dryer. They advertise one, and I’d have packed mine if I’d known. Instead, I spent $40 to DoorDash one, and the woman at the front desk wasn’t very nice about it. We couldn’t use a public restroom or change out of our travel clothes before heading downtown. When we left our bags with the front desk before check-in, staff warned us to take valuables with us so they wouldn’t be stolen, even though the bags were behind a locked door only staff could access. The grab-and-go breakfast was basically coffee and maybe a packaged muffin. While checking under the bed for stray socks as we packed, I found someone’s laptop. I have no idea how long it had been there, and I don’t trust that staff will return it to its owner. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’m not usually picky. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.

My 76-year-old mother and I stayed in Burlington for most of three weeks. Linda W. and her staff were so helpful and hospitable that, without them, I would have checked out after the second day. If you need a room in the area, look for Linda. You can’t judge a book by its cover. They’re awesome people, and I can’t say enough about them.
