UPDATE: The manager reached out and handled everything. She was very kind, and hopefully we’ll return someday. I really wanted to love this place, but the smoke smell on the second floor was awful. We could barely leave our room and breathe. It triggered a bad asthma flare-up for our daughter, and we weren’t the only guests complaining. This is a non-smoking motel, and if they can’t resolve something like this, we won’t come back.

They charged me twice for the full stay. When I called to sort it out, I was told just one person at the whole resort could fix it and that they only worked from 7 to 3. The front desk person then cut me off mid-sentence and sent me to voicemail. Take your kids to Scotty's Fun Spot in Quincy instead. At least there, someone can help if they get your charges wrong.

We went to the Ca$hino and were pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a lingering smoke smell. They had free self-serve soft drinks and coffee, and all three of us left with extra money. The staff were very pleasant.

We had a great time there with the parents from our team. It was convenient having the food, entertainment, and lodging all in one spot, so we didn’t have to leave after our games.

The racing was fun for the kids, but one go-kart was painfully slow. I complained at the desk and got nowhere with the clerk's “I can’t help you” attitude. I ended up paying for extra rides and steering them away from that kart. They could have let my son and his friend try again in another one, but instead it felt like they were being stingy on behalf of a big corporation.
