Sonesta Simply Suites Boston Burlington

My coworker and I are at a Sonesta farther out, and we’ll give this another try. I’m due to be transferred to the Burlington location on February 1st, but I’m not looking forward to it because last time I stayed there, one manager in particular was really rude for no reason. Hopefully it goes better this time.

The staff are the best part: pleasant, effective, professional, and amazingly nice and polite. They’re quick to fix issues, too. The hotel is clean and decent, and everything’s been renovated. It feels safe, has a little store with basic emergency snacks, and they welcome dogs. There’s a full kitchen, plus laundry: washing is free, drying costs $3, and the online laundry account needs a minimum $10 deposit. The laundry company refunds whatever you don’t use. They also have modern gym machines. A $75 damage deposit is required, then returned after check-out within the usual bank processing time. The location makes it easy to get to Boston or the airport, and it’s within walking distance of Burlington Mall, Wegmans, Coffee shops, Tony C, and good Italian and seafood restaurants. It’s also easy to reach the highway.

The front desk hospitality is phenomenal, and the rooms are always very clean and quiet. I still give it five stars, even though smoking and vaping are different things, and if you go outside to smoke you have to walk all the way around the building to get back in.

We needed a room at the last minute for a friend visiting from out of town, and Kate was fantastic with the customer service. The room was clean and the location was convenient. We'll be back. Thanks, Kate.
