Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge

I was there for a business conference this past weekend and really liked the hotel. The conference room was huge and warm, which worked well for our big group. Everywhere I saw was clean and well lit, and there was plenty of parking. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were nice. The cleaning crew kept checking that they were clean and stocked. There were comfortable areas to eat with TVs and lots of places to sit. I didn't see the bedrooms, but if the lower level is any indication, I'm sure they're lovely too. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. 😊❤️

We used to love staying here, but the new management's rules about outside food and drinks have changed that. Even when the kitchen is closed, they won't let you eat a pizza in the lobby. Our group has booked 70 rooms and spent thousands at the bar and restaurant, yet we get threatened for ordering pizza after the kitchen closes. These policies feel completely out of touch with customers, and we won't be patronizing the place.

The extras add up fast here: $14 for parking, another $14 for Wi-Fi, and $6 for a bottle of water in the room. At this rate, maybe they'll start charging by the square of toilet paper too. Hopefully I haven't given them ideas.

The ballroom gave us plenty of room for 160 guests, with space to walk around even after setting up a DJ, two bartenders, a live artist, and a photobooth. The food and drinks were delicious, and the venue looked gorgeous inside and out, clean and updated. The rooms were in great shape for our wedding party and family over the weekend. My husband and I got married at the Burr Ridge Chicago Marriott on August 2nd, and choosing it was the best decision for our venue. Sinisa was a fantastic wedding coordinator, organized and excellent at communicating.
