There were clothes, body wash, and rusty razors left in the safe from a previous guest, so the rooms clearly aren’t checked carefully. The heat and AC buttons were broken too, and the lobby had a foul smell. It’s supposed to be nonsmoking, yet there was a cigarette tray with cigarettes in it right by the entrance, and it stank. My two-year-old spilled cheese sauce on the bed. I used a washcloth to clean it, but they charged me another $100 for damage because of the orange stain on the sheet and cloth. They even sent a video to show it was all “ruined.” Wash it first and then tell me if it’s still “ruined.” When I called about the charge, the woman was rude and condescending. She wouldn’t let me speak to an owner or manager, only said I could leave a message and they’d get back to me when they could. She also said they’d just tell me the same thing. Dirty hotel and horrendous staff. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

A peaceful little escape, with a standard breakfast, hot showers, and plenty of towels. Thanks for a great stay.

The fire alarm kept going off, and I’m dealing with bites after staying here. The place didn’t seem clean, and staff will move your things inside the room. Stay at your own risk.

We booked back in March for a music festival in September. Then, just one day before check-in, they called to say they had to cancel because they were full. I’m sure that threw off lots of people’s plans. They offered 50% off a future booking, but that doesn’t make up for it. I won’t book here again.

It was okay, mostly because I was exhausted and there didn’t seem to be many options in this small town. They appear to be renovating. There’s just one door in and out, and no elevator. The location is so-so, though Walmart is next door.
