The staff were five-star across the few times I spoke with them. We had to cancel our weekend trip to Caliente at the last minute, so I can’t comment on the property itself. We’d planned to visit the hot springs in Panaca and stay at Shady Motel. I’m disappointed we missed it, but I’ll book there when we get another chance.

The WiFi didn’t work, but we were on vacation, so it wasn’t a big deal. The place is simple, which suited us, and it was clearly well cared for. Everything was spotless, especially the bathroom, and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. If you need a night in Caliente, NV, this is the place.

The town is quaint, and the hotel is in a convenient spot in Caliente. Our room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were helpful and accommodating.

I spent a month at the Shady for work. Housekeeping kept the place clean, and my room was large, comfortable, and had good internet. It was a great stay.

Clean and affordable, and absolutely amazing. Knotty Pine bar restaurant next door is worth recommending too.
