Brannan Cottage Inn

There’s little value here beyond the location, and I don’t recommend it. I was in Cottage #5. The fireplace gave off very little flame or heat, and the shower valve for switching between the rain head and handheld didn’t work. There was no live TV service. Getting the lack of housekeeping and other issues resolved felt more like service at a $150-a-night hotel than one charging $450. Cottage #4 also had a lot of trouble with its lock.

The cafe serves amazing espresso drinks and some of the best Matcha lattes I’ve tasted, and the hotel is pet friendly. Service was Ritz-Carlton quality. All the NicoleS were super helpful and friendly, creating a warm, relaxed, refined atmosphere where even our unspoken needs and wishes were met ;) This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are extremely well maintained, with little luxuries like a heated bathroom floor, heated toilet seat, and a bathroom cabinet with a hair straightener.

We loved the little attached cafe, where we had a nice breakfast outside, and the staff were very responsive when we needed anything. Brannon Cottage is a charming Inn right in downtown Calistoga, conveniently located. Our room was very well appointed, with lots of little details that made us feel pampered.

Nicole went above and beyond to make our stay special. Sam’s General Store on the property has delicious breakfast and lunch options, plus espresso drinks. The rooms are quiet, spacious, beautifully furnished, and well appointed. This little inn is a perfect getaway in Calistoga, with easy walking access to downtown, restaurants, and spas. We’ll be back!
