The restaurant, Bambara, was fantastic. The staff there were friendly, and the Smoked St. Lous Ribs were very good. Garrett & Michael were quick to respond through the text messaging service and kept me updated when I had questions. My room was spacious, modern, clean, and had great bedding. I slept like a baby. The lobby and lounge areas were great too, and the hotel looked new and was quiet. Check-in and checkout took no time, and the front desk staff were friendly. I stayed a couple of days and would definitely book again on my next visit to Boston/Cambridge.

I booked this stay to rest after finals, as a mom and full-time student, and the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel gave me a beautiful, peaceful place to recharge. I was alone and felt safe and comfortable throughout. The room looked lovely, was very clean, and had a comfortable bed and bathroom, plus a nice view. The hotel smelled fresh and pleasant as soon as I arrived. Irina at guest services was especially warm, informative, and welcoming. She took time to explain several benefits tied to my credit card, and the staff overall were accommodating. Parking was convenient too: the garage would have been about $30 overnight, but the hotel validated it and I paid just $4 for one night. I’m usually cautious with hotel toiletries because my skin is sensitive, but I used the shampoo and body wash without irritation. Their brand was a great concoction. The restaurant was another highlight. I had what may have been my best Caesar salad, creamy, fresh, and delicious, with a Ha Cha Cha cocktail. The thick fries were very thick and tasty, and came with a delicious harissa aioli. The restaurant staff were welcoming, though I wish I’d gotten everyone’s names. Breakfast was really delicious, but my order came out slightly wrong. I got an extra sandwich I hadn’t ordered and was first charged for it. The staff sorted it out quickly and professionally, refunded the extra item, and kindly let me keep the sandwich. I do wish the hotel had room service. I had to go downstairs to sign off on the order, though I understand they were busy. I appreciated the generous 4 PM checkout and how attentive housekeeping was about keeping things clean. They came to my room about three times while I was sleeping. I told them after the first visit that I had late checkout, but they came back twice. To be fair, I’d forgotten to put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because I was exhausted, and assumed the message might have been passed along. Apart from those small hiccups, I loved the thoughtful hospitality and details. Thanks to the staff for making it so welcoming. I’ll absolutely be back. I wish I’d taken more photos, but I was there to relax and unplug, which I guess is a good sign.

Getting into Boston was an easy walk, and there was great shopping and dining nearby, so the location worked perfectly for me. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. I loved the stylish, modern design, which still felt comfortable. My room was spotless, nicely decorated, and had stunning views of the Boston skyline and the Charles River. The thoughtful amenities made the stay feel special. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!

I’d definitely stay again. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed, pillows, and linens were very comfortable. My only real criticism was the condition of a few fixtures: the shower temperature handle was loose, parts of the wallpaper looked worn, and the closet door handles weren’t level. Dogs stay free, and they offered a dog bowl and pet bed. The $25 nightly destination fee covers bike and kayak rentals, first come first served, plus a $10 credit for the restaurant. Cambridge is convenient for most Boston attractions. I parked at a nearby garage at 245 1st st for about $17 per 24 hours. If you have a capital one card and book through their portal, you can get added benefits, such as a $50 experience credit for the restaurant or other hotel areas, including parking.

We stayed at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel for two nights during our wedding and booked a block of rooms for our guests last weekend. Haley was always available beforehand to answer questions from us and our guests. Once everyone arrived, they had lovely things to say about the rooms, amenities, and friendly staff. The hotel set up chairs and mirrors in our room for hair and makeup, then surprised us after the wedding with champagne and strawberries. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel for a wedding, and especially thank Haley for her excellent support.
