Windward House is quiet, comfortable, and rustic, right downtown in the heart of the Mid-Coast. The owners put in extra effort to make each stay enjoyable and memorable. It feels like the Maine experience, and I wouldn’t visit without staying here, even if it’s just for one night.

The hosts made us feel welcome and shared suggestions for places to visit and eat. We especially loved breakfast each morning, with blueberry pancakes that were the best. The property has lovely gardens, cozy rooms, and fun shared spaces with games, a fire pit, and an honor bar. It’s only a short walk into town. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

A relaxing spot with beautiful flowers, well-kept grounds, a firepit, and deck chairs. It’s across from a hilltop park overlooking the marina by the library, and you can head out the back and up a hill to reach the Mt. Battle trails. Shops and restaurants are easy to walk to. Coffee, tea, granola bars, and cookies are always on hand in the café room. The rooms, hosts, and delicious breakfast all made this feel like a real Camden gem. Highly recommend.

Matt and Dan were wonderful hosts, and the homemade blueberry pancakes in the morning were a highlight. We also liked being able to walk into town in the evening. I love Camden Windward House Bed and Breakfast and had a great time there. Matt and Dan, thanks for everything!

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and town was an easy walk away. Matt and Dan’s inn felt so welcoming and comfortable, with thoughtful personal touches throughout. I’ll definitely be back.
